The Tale of Genji 源氏物語, Genji Monogatari in Japanese, is a 54 chapter sequence which can be seen as a never ending story which Lady Murasaki gave the world.

if you go to http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/japanese/genji/index.html , you can find the original text, a romanized version, and a modern Japanese translation of The Tale of Genji at the University of Virginia Library.

A complete 54 chapter English version may be found on the web at http://www.globusz.com/ebooks/Genji/00000010.htm.

Enjoy.

It's grossly overrated.
I bought a copy of the Seidensticker trans and I really wanted to give it a good try so I read EIGHT HUNDRED pages before I gave up. Be warned, it will disappoint you. I have a degree in literature so I know what I'm about here.

Amazon.com has several English translations at low prices. For a Japanese edition, you might contact the Japanese Embassy for a start.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Do you want an edition that has both Japanese AND English in it or do you want one of each? And do you want an online purchasing source or someplace you can go to buy it?
