Troy Smith (Ex-Buckeye) getting his chance to start with
the Ravens this week. I believe he will prove hisself and
take over for good as the starting quarterback.

I think he will be good, and the Ravens may get a W this week. He had a great arm in college, I think it should be alright on this level, and alot of people forgot how he could pick up yardage nicely with his feet. And not just if he was forced out of the pocket too. He could juke and spin with the best.

I think he will have a solid showing, and may finish out the season as the Ravens starter. Wouldnt it be great if he could help out his hometown team the Cleveland Browns by knocking off the Steelers next week, moving the Browns into the division lead?

a QB can't make all the difference. baltimore doesn't have an offensive line and for a rookie QB in the NFL all it will take is a few hits from some big bruiser D-lineman to knock off all of his focus and he will be afraid of getting hit and his passes will be rushed.

if their O-line can protect him, then he might just prove himself useful

There are very few really good QBs in the NFL. He will not be one of them, but he might do better than the other guys on the team.

the offense-line have to give him time to pass the ball and he need not force plays and I think he going to play well.
