my period started today and when i went to the bath room to change my pad my blood was kinda of brown-ish? is anything wrong?
i have a light flow.

No, nothings wrong. When blood hits air it turns brown. It just means that was the blood closest to the opening of your vagina.

Sometimes it's bright red,sometimes brownish, sometimes with 'clots' which are small dehydrated looking dark tissue bits from the shedding stuff inside the uterus, sometimes the clots are thick and jelly like. All this is normal. Usually it's red blood, but don't stress it if you get a variation occasionally.

Usually the heavy clotting comes with some nasty cramping. Make sure you eat red meat during those times, it helps I've found.

If you have had an uterine surgery recently, then you should be concerned. Perhaps you had removal of fibroids, or polyp or a D&C or an abortion etc. Check out Ashermans Syndrome on the internet.

Nothings wrong. Brownish blood is just blood that has already dried up. You're perfectly fine.
