Dear Directors & Owners of Gap,

Your commercial in Yahoo Answer is very annoying. And I am not the only

one complaining about it, there are almost 4,000 of us in Yahoo Answer
worldwide who are actually going to boycott your products for putting
up
the annoying commercial.

If you do not want to lose your customers & potential customers, please

stop the idiotic commercial the soonest possible or change the format
of
it.

Check out the questions posted by the users of Yahoo Answer and see for

yourselves the negetive reactions towards the commercial & your
company.

Thank you.

Dear gap.com Customer,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding our current advertising campaign on

to
hear your thoughts on this matter as well.

Again, thanks for bringing your concerns to our attention. We hope you

will continue to let us know how we are doing.

Sincerely,

It should say

ROBOT
Customer Services Consultant

As several people have posted exactly the same letter

Well, excellent initiative shown on your part to send your letter; however, due to the fact that your reply was sent late Saturday afternoon (and just a few days shy of Christmas ...), I suspect that this is an auto-response. Our good friend "Robert", the so-called Customer Service Consultant, was not in the office at all but likely at-home, sipping a rum and eggnog at the time.

Yes, like you and many others, I found the commercial inane and frustrating. My suggestion? Turn down your speaker volume and you're done! In the meantime, you might want to fly your private plane, call all of your single friends on your cell phone and dump jet fuel without concern for wildlife ...

Thank You
I was just about to click out of Y/A for the night because I just could not handle it anymore.
It feels like torture, punishment, a radio on a static channel turned up to the maxium volume, even when it is on mute.
I find myself rushing through the pages trying to dodge that MotherFing voice.

This is for the GAP, "You have until Monday 11:59pm to get that $h it off of Y/A or, I will put the word out in my town and the adjacent towns, that you are responsible for sending me to the asylum. And I will make sure you get the BILL.

If Gap is anything like Yahoo they really don't care....They need to get rid of that ad though, I'll never shop at a Gap store

I got the same reply. Hopefully they'll get the message. And, if you haven't done it yet, go to http://www.ie7pro.com/index.php

This really works. I'm Gap ad free now.
