Rules? What rules? When did they make RULES?!?
(I've been told-and not very nicely, at that-that it is obvious that I believe those speed limit signs are "suggestions". I smiled sweetly and did not mention that I feel that way about a number of other "guidelines").
Rules are for people who can't figure out how to act and only apply to those who accept them. ;-))

Sometimes, when in a professional setting it usually does. But at more casual times - some rules are meant to be broken.

No. I make up my own rules. But then again, this may be why I got into so much trouble when I was in school!

oh yes, the speed limits, rules against stealing and cheating. yes. i am much happier when i follow these rules. all the rules do actually apply to me. i find them helpful
