instead of using labels like "you are fantastic" try telling your friends how they make you feel and what needs they meet.
when you sang that song you made me feel happy...it met my need for beauty.
when you talked to me the other day, it made me feel calm, your support met my need for peace.
when you helped me change my flat tire i felt grateful because it met my need for support
tell them how they impact your life
