No. Dandruff really depends on your hair type, shampoo you use, your scalp, and the type of oils in your hair.
You two may both have it because of the shampoo you're using, but it's not contagious.

Hell YES! There are many ailments that cause dandruff and many are definitely contagious. Many are not just dried skin from showering to little or too much. Some are fungal infections that require medication to keep it at bay. Medications like Ketoconazole and the like, are popular for these infections. Find out the source of his flakes! Yes it could be harmless, but, if it isn't you will be fighting this all your life.

Depends on what is causing the dandruff. Some conditions are transmittable, some are not. If he's simply got a dry scalp, that's not contagious.
