No. I do not think if a young person is old enough to go to war he or she is old enough to drink, neither do I believe any form of illegal drugs should be legalized. What you are saying is that just because a person is old enough to work at a job as an adult he or she should be able to drink. Just ask yourself this question, If you were in a foxhole during an invasion of your area, and the enemy was close at hand, would you want a loud alcoholic hollering and giving your position away so that the enemy could find and kill you quietly? Just a thought. Maybe you would want your partner to be sober and alert and quiet. Be very careful how you allow others to influence your thinking. Lives are at steak during war. Those who are fighting in war need all their thinking to be clear, it is hard enough to think clear when bullets and bombs are going off all around you.

It was that way in the past. The drinking age on all military bases was at one time 18. Not too sure what changed that.

Yes...... I believe the Law should be changed so that those under 21 and in the Military should be allowed to go out and have a drink if they want one.

When I was in the Army if you were enlisted you could drink on any military post until you abused the priviledge. Like getting drunk and showing your azz.

My view -- which has changed -- is that cops are spending to much of their time running after boys with beer and not enough time on real crimes.

Sorry. That's my opinion!

I think they chase the beer boys and guys with pot because that's easy. Solving who is breaking into homes -- that's hard!

heck yeah, i think it's so wrong that our government says these boys (and girls) are old enough to die for their country, but they can't kick back and drink a beer when he actually gets a break??? its ridiculous. i say, at 18, if you are active duty military or reserve....then that's all the id you need to buy booze!!!!
