Why aren't there any black models?

Where are all the black models, it's always the same stick thin ghostly looking bag of bones. What is wrong with the industry?

There are some black models but they are generally not very attractive. They are tokens in the industry.

Where are you finding your models at? Pick up Ebony the magazine and tell me there are only white models in there. In products marketed toward white people there is going to be white models and vice versa. There are plenty of black models ALL over the place. U know tyra banks?

There are black models, but the industry is the one who for the most part requires their mannequins to be almost and sometimes awfully anorexic looking.

Well it's obvious they are catering towards a certain demographic.

That's why I don't spend my money on mass marketing crap, cause it's not made for me and secondly, I'm in advertising. That's my job is to tell stupid kids that they want what caucasian models are wearing, using, consuming. hehe

There actually are black models...One great one..can't remember her name..darn - Is from Ethiopia..great model and awesome person. She is trying to have some practices that hurt women in her country abolished..There are quite a few..Just not as many.

there are black models, and more than just tyra and naiomi. there aren't as many black as there are white because we are in america, and black people always get the short end of the stick, due to a ton of ignorant racist losers poisoning our society.
