Do you say "My Bad"?

i told my mom people say that and she thought it was so weird. she thinks it should be "Me bad" as in "im so bad" and every time she hears someone say it she freaks out :) can you tell me how often you say it?

I never say it, I think it sounds like you're a gangster or weird, and whenever someone says it, I sort of am disgusted, but I dont freak out!

I don't say it to often, but a few years back I use to say it all the time.

It was funny because I said that one time,
to my mom. I was like "Oh.. my bad."
and she just stared at me like I was a weirdo.
Then she asked, "I've never ever heard anyone say that."
Out of surprise, she really had never heard it, then
I asked my father if he knew that saying and he did.
Then we all laughed at my mom and she just kept saying
"I've never heard anyone say that before, it just doesn't make sense."

No, I had never even heard it until I started using Answers. I think a 2 yr. old must have started it.

I say it all the time. It sounds much better when you say, "My bad" than "Me bad" but maybe I say it too often.

yeah i say it sometimes, but only when around friends.i would say i say it probably about 5 times a week, at the most.

Explain to her that it's more like you're saying "my fault" and not "I'm bad". It'll probably make more sense to her that way. I say it occasionally. I definitely don't overuse it.
