Jonathon Toews for the Calder...............and he was wearing the 'A' tonight!

sshueman - Kane hasn't disappeared but he's definitely not at the same skill level as Toews. Kane will be to Toews what Spezza is to Heatley.

Lubers - I like that Chelios kid, rarely makes a mistake. I've heard rumours that he may be over 40 though

Erica - you can bet that I'll be reminding you people until he's holding that trophy in his hands!

Vinny - the only thing I'll be bringing up the next time we play you is the term "5-0-0"

I was convinced long ago LITY. When they asked him to play with the pros at the World Championships I knew I wasn't the only one who was impressed with the kid. Let's hope they keep him happy in Chicago.

2eighty8 - don't look back, just clear the track. LOL

If he stays consistent, that will get him noticed. I don't think the powers that be really notice the quality of a player unless he scores a lot. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing Toews, it's just that I think he needs to score more often to be considered in the running for how the people that choose the best rookie seem to be picking them.

HALES = How about giving us a break in Philly !? Pick the Rangers or Sharks.

I am not going to say, "Jonathon Toews for the Calder!!!". I am glad he got the "A" tonight. Much deserved.

I have been saying "Flyers for the Cup!!!" for the past few days as a joke and they have lost 2 in a row.
What is the opposite of King Midas, Bob?

Man, Sharp was really on it again tonight for you guys....but to stay on topic ...your kid-o, Toews, did really great, as well. I'm a little jealous, actually. :(

Erica: Are you hailing the queen of bad luck? Normally, I am so lucky. Hopefully, next year (in a bit of days) will be a better one for "Unlucky Haley". I think I am going to change my name......maybe that will help.

Lubers: Maybe I should start going for the Thrashers. It is not like anyone cares about them, anyhow.

I am starting a new petition: Chris Chelios for the Calder. That whole eligibility rule about games played is a little too restrictive.

LITY: That age restriction non-sense is even sillier and more restrictive.

Erica: Avery was robbed for the Masterson following this hit a few years back. (FYI: This is my video of the night, I intend to incorporate it into as many questions as I can.)

Haley: A 6 game losing streak is a long enough for the Flyers. They are out of the playoff rankings for the moment. Could you please root for the Leafs, Lightning and Panthers for the next couple of weeks please.

Whoooo!!! Toews with 2 assists AND the game-winner from Sharp, who already has a goal from one of the assists and returns Toews the favour!! I really hope I win this week to keep PD off my ar$e in the standings....

After tonight? Probably not.
Unless you intend to really rub it in. :P

I'm very happy for you that the Hawks beat Ottawa! (Okay, maybe I'm just a little bit happy for me... Mwahaha, take that Sens!) I knew in my gut that game would go to OT. Then it was 3-3 in the 3rd last I checked. Wish I could have been watching!
