I'm writing a book with a girl and her older brother and need name ideas for both of them. The girl has fire red hair and golden eyes, and her brother black hair and gold eye's too, both are relitivly short. the brother is a nice guy, you know, the kind you wouldn't mind bring to your perents. he's the protecting role. The girl is a reble at hart, trying to find her vioce in a lost world type thing. Any ideas?! thanks for the help!!!!

it's got (you guessed it) 20,000 names from all over the world. it also has a section on name meanings, so if you want a name that, say, means 'fire' you can look under that category. They have some really good names there.
I don't have any suggestions because I have very strange taste in them, that doesn't seem to be shared by anyone =D

I'm a fire red-head, and I"ve always like Roxane because it sounded wild to me. I also liked the name Victoria, because then her nickname could be "Vixie" like Vixen.
For a boys name, I've always liked Samuel, though I"ve always imagined a blond with the name. Of course, if you have Victoria or "Vixie" you could name him Victor. For black hair I've always prefered Cole, Damien or Robert.

They already have names and you already know what those names are, you just have to get quiet and wait patiently and they will reveal their names to you.
If you're really impatient you can pick up a paperback baby name book in almost any department store.

Girl - Aideen (It is the Irish feminine of Aidan and means "fire".)
Boy - Brendan (Means "prince", which sounds fitting for your description of him being a protector and nice guy.)

Anagram your own name into a name for him and a name for her, or otherwise base their names on yours.
Like if you're Dee, she could be Edie. Hey, I like that.
