I understand completely. I have a birthday in January and it was ALWAYS right in the middle of exams and so no one ever called me either. Having a birthday right in the middle of a major holiday is sometimes difficult as people are preoccupied with many things.

Please simply remember that they love you. Forgive them and enjoy your holiday. You will surely see them at some point during the holiday and you can have fun with them no matter what.
If you are old enough, why not simply give them a call after Christmas and say, "hey why don't we meet somewhere for a drink to celebrate my birthday? I'm buying!".... I'm sure they will come and you all will have a great time.
If you are not old enough for that, why not email them and tell them simply "I love you, I hope you all are having a great holiday with your families.... I missed you on my birthday but let's make plans to get together for some cake and (insert your favourite game or pastime here) at my place on.... and (name a date)".
Remember if you are younger, your friends time is usually dictated by their parents, and if you are older, there are obligations that take up our brain cels at holiday time.
It's NOTHING against you dear - it's just part of life. :)

and happy HAPPY birthday and Merry Christmas.

blessings to you

No, it's too sappy. Anytime can be a day for love. Why do people wait until February 14? During Valentine's, there is too much romance at once.

Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry your friends missed your birthday. I'm sure they don't mean to be insensitive. Did you inform them that it's today? I for one am really bad at remembering dates and birthdays and anniversaries and such. I have to write them all on a calendar and consult it at the start of each week. Anyway, Happy Birthday...get yourself something nice.

I am sorry to hear that. Sometimes, friends aren't as thoughtful as they should be.

I am here and will wish you a happy birthday. Happy Birthday,NK..

I think you should just be honest and say it was not such a great birthday since nobody remembered it.

People like you make me hate birthdays and Christmas too!

The look at me attitude is disgusting! You tell them not to make a big deal out of it so they don't and now your going to throw a hissy fit?

If you want people to acknowledge it invite them over for diner or buy them gifts as a sort of "reverse" birthday! Instead of give me attitude turn it into a its my day to ackowledge my friends.
