I'm a pretty sarcastic guy and well thing is if people don't get my jokes or when I'm sarcastic, well could be a problem, i'm just trying to have a little fun
recently there has been a little awkwardness between my friend and i and we almost even stopped texting each other but that didnt happen and she asked me by text if i had any plans for break and i told her playfully nope i dont have any plans what so ever, none, zero zip and even added a lol and then asked her what shes been up to and done anything fun lately and teased her about studying for school next qtr because shes a book worm.
she hasnt responded yet which makes me think she probably didnt find it funny, thought i was weird. what do i do? just wait til she responds right? i dont think shes my type for some reason, needs to loosen up!

i dont see what the big deal is!!!! if she knows you at all, she know u obviously have a sence of humor, so nothing that u texted. was in any way rude.... I would go ahead and text again, and ask something specific, like when are u returning from Christmas break or whatever...... and if she still doesnt respond, forget about it and find someone u can laugh with.. and be yourself............ Ok, i think that she might have taken it wrong. I might get mad if someone called me that. What you should do i get the nerve to call her. Ask her if you hurt her fellings. Then plan a study date get to gether type thing. Rember study then she will think and no you were just kidding!
If she dosen't forgive you right away think of something that you have said to make her laugh. For example if you said like a sunshiney day. Then come up with a cheesy but funny sentence to say to her.
Also if that dosen't work then think out a quote out of a book or movie and do the same. Make shure it is one that she likes tho! Do the same with the quote
**TIPS**
1. if she dosen't answer the phone then leave a message with all that stuff.
2. Make shure you CALL her not TEXT her. Calling shows you care.
3. Have the date planned already.
4. Have fun with this dont be dull and boring with your appolgl!

Just relax. These IM systems make for alot of guesswork and stress. Was my joke funny? Does she/he hate me now? Perhaps she had to pee. Maybe the doorbell rang and she was delayed. The possibilities are endless, but don't get too wound up. You will find its hard to insult someone permanently through a bunch of digital symbols. Face to face, as yourself, thats where you make the difference.

If you always do this kind of thing, then I am assuming she knows u are joking. You also have to remember that she may not have gotten the text that does happen a lot. Give her a CALL to see what is up.

Either her batteries died or she has no sense of humor. Text her back and let her know that you didn't mean to offend her. But it doesn't sound like you did anything rude. Maybe you are better off pursuing someone who does match your sense of humor a little better. Good luck!

she might not have gotten the text or deleted it by mistake? i know thats happened a ton of times to me, then i just forget to text back cuz i get busy with somethin else. text her and see whats goin on, at least get closure...but that doesn't really sound like a very offensive question :)

Text her back and tell her your just in a cocky mood. If she still doesn't text you back then unless you plan on watching everything you say as not to offend her, best to cut it and move on.

she could of taken this the wrong way... i am like this at times too, its one of my worse faults(i'm too serious) anyways, just give it a few days, see if she texts back....
