I want to make a biography of my life. How many words and about how many pages would be appropriate. how hard is it to get a book published? any good websites?

unless you are famous, or have some extemely crazy life, i seriously doubt that your biography would get published. If you were to send one in though, it would probably be around 200 or more pages

Much depends on how long you've been on this earth, the events you've experienced--both joyful and traumatic--and how detailed you wish to be in your biography.

As for conventional publishing, I'd say it would be next to impossible--unless you are a high-profile political figure or a top-dollar celebrity.

Consult the Writer's Market for a literary agent that might accept biographies for representation.

Otherwise, you may have to resort to vanity publishing, or at best, local print shop publishing for your coffeetable.

Meanwhile, start writing Chapter One. Buy "The Elements of Style" by Strunk and White, review it thoroughly, and highlight those areas you're weakest in. Keep it near the keyboard for immediate referencing.
