ha yea i know. i guess some people are so confident that they gave a great answer that a couple of thumbs down really eats away at them. letting people know that your bothering them is just gonna make them what to do it even more.

I don't mind when I get a thumbs-down for an opinion because like you said, not everyone is going to agree with me. But, it does irritate me when I get thumbs-down for a personal experience. For example, someone asks, "How did you know you were pregnant" and I tell the story of how I found out. Why would I get thumbs-down for that? How can someone agree or disagree? It's a personal experience.
Anyway, I don't go back and ask why I got thumbs-down. It's pointless anyway. How many people really reread the answers they already gave thumbs-down to?

It does not annoy me in any respect. Usually folks are soliciting for a Christian to reply their query. A Christian that has approved Jesus as Lord in their existence, has a lovely reward to proportion! They wish you to proportion within the pleasure that they have got observed. And you are correct, devout solutions do not resolve your disorders, most effective God can do this. Only God can supply you knowledge. Only God can open doorways for you or near those which can be determental to you. Only God can appear into your center and realize what real is unsuitable on your existence. But you spot, those Christians that you just search solutions from, they already realize that, and all they are seeking to do is lead you to Jesus so you'll uncover out the solutions for your self. They're no longer ignorant both. In reality, they are lovely sensible.

Yes, I think it's petty and stupid, and boils down to jealousy. Some people just can't handle it, and have to make multiple accounts to give certain users more and more thumbs down. It always baffles me - they don't actually count for anything in real life, so why bother?
But the thing is, the TDs are given erroneously, and doled out for whatever answer a certain user gives, whether it's opinion, factual, or whatever. Hence multiple accounts.

I don't find that part annoying at all. I see it as their openess to know other peoples' opinions. The part that annoys me is when people get a thumb down, edit, and type something like "I don't care what other people think."
I learned in my life it is good to have a balance of being skeptical and open minded.

What annoys me most is the whole concept of thumbs down for no obvious reason. Some of the best answers I have seen, in any category, not just this one, get thumbs down, and it makes no sense to me whatsoever, so maybe you could explain the concept to me.

I personally don't care. I've done that before. but you also need to notice that most of the questions the answers are to are opinion based question and they're getting thumbs down on their opinion. so in other words, they're asking "how is my opinion wrong?" which makes no sense, because opinions can't be wrong. it's the sole purpose of an opinion, it isn't right or wrong.
like you said "maybe not everyone is going to agree with you"
