My mom had a bath and a shower and my dad had a shower. I need to shower now. How long should I wait for hot water to come back? I usually shower for 20 mins. Thanks

Shower for 20 minutes???? How often?? When you grow up girlie, I bet you'll think twice about your bathing habits when you have to pay utility bills.

suggest if the water heater is gas fired,about 20 minutes,If the heater is "in line" you would probably have instant hot water,if heated by electricity it will take longer then gas fired.

It depends on the size of your tank & method of heating.
Gas recovers quicker than electric heaters.
