Maybe it's not ok with some people, but personally I don't really care. I have some guy friends who act like girls, but it's their personality that i loved in the first place. Doesn't matter really if they're gay.

In society, it's always been that the men are the protectors and the hunters and such. In ancient times, it wasn't acceptable for a woman to hunt, or become a warrior or do anything but cook, gather,and birth-and-rear children. But it did happen.
Despite that, If you went back in time about 200 years, you would never find a tomboy ever. Because it was unacceptable for a girl to do anything that isn't proper (blech)
Obviously, old habits die hard. After melenia(idk how to spell it) of men being the tough ones..it's still harder to accept someone who is different from themselves.(left over herd instinct; whole nother topic there)
Is it right? No.
Is it common? Yes
Acceptable? Yes, in society its acceptable. But that doesn't make it right.

Boys don't really do anything different from girls that would make them wierd for doing it. If a boy put on make up or dresses, they would be wierd for acting like a girl.

Well if you the girls can act like boys, why not let the boys act like girls?? Maybe because most men think that if guys act like girls they're gay and are not men but girls! might as well turn themselves to girls

It is just how men are raised. We are suppose to be strong, and not show our emotions. We are the anchor of our family.
Know, I don't mind a man acting femine, but even gay men should act somewhat masculine, which is why I am not attracted to really girlie type gay people!!!

i don't know.
personally i think its fine if a boy acts like a girl. i do. and boys acting like girls is totally fine. i have a lot of gay friends and they act a lot like the opposite sex.

because I promise you...people just don't like "different" things anymore. i mean, back in the egeption times, the guys wore skirts too!! how wild is that?? but know it's not okay!! it's strange!!! =]

heres what i think.......
when a girl acts like a guy, its cuz she is tomboyish and unfeminine. she wears boots, tennis shoes, jeans, and doesn't brush her hair. eats TV diners and snorts( kinda like sandra bullock in mrs. congeniality) its not like they do it on purpose, it just how they are.
however, when guys act like girls they are REALLY feminine. they make themselves extremely girly, pink, makeup, plastic surgery etc.( no girls EVER get there boob taken off cuz they want to e a guy) also this is associated with being gay whereas a tomboy is not a lesbian. so you see, girls do not intentianally act like guys, they are jsut a little rough around the edges. but guys(typicaly gay ones) they are really wierd and do it inteninally.
