At a friends place. The old guy is heavily induced on meds, hes dying, I think, and lives alone, or with a young assistant, who seems quiet, she didnt even come out of the room, nor bothered to look.

You should straighten your life out. It may seem in the short term that sneaking around and stealing is getting you ahead, however you pay in the long term. Even if you do not get caught you will still end up associating with a lot of people who you can not trust.

Are you out of your rabbitt mine. How dare you wanting to steal from anybody. That old man probably worked all his life for his money and just because you think he is dying does not give you the right to take advantage of the situation. One day you might be in that same situation, would you want anyone to steal from you? Better yet would you want anyone to take from your parents or grand parents? Judging by the type of person you are presenting, you probably already do.

There is a fair chance that the old, crippled man has a loaded gun beside his bed.

I'm not advocating it, but I'm starting to think that crime has the best risk/reward payoff compared to any investment or job you can think of.

Also... how are you on a computer?

Your question is "Should I STEAL money?" EVERYTHING else you say is an ATTEMPT to justify being a THIEF. My answer is NO.
