There is actually no dime with 1924-P on it, so you must mean plain, that is without mint mark. In grade good it is worth around $1.05 and goes up to $3.10 in grade very fine, with different values at the grades in between. It is not a scarce dime. It had a mintage of 24,010,000. It is a little scarce in high uncirculated grades for few were saved. It is still a collectible item and worth holding onto. The only place the price can go is up. Values given are about what a dealer would pay.
