They are always finding new ways to make the boards more comfortable.. Alot of new boards from this year are alot lighter and easier to handle... graphics dont have a big part in it at all...

the snowboards now usually have a really small springy type thing inside the board that makes the board flex while going over any bumps or curves... usually makes your ride a little bit smoother...

Hope this helps....

In some cases a newer year will have some new features, they will usually change the graphics, and the newer board will usually sell at full list price whereas the last year's model is often discounted to move it out.

If it was a good board last year, it is still a good board this year. Most people ride a board for at least a couple of years so most of us are on a 1 - 3 year old board. I say save the money and get a last year's model.

Good Luck

Mostly just graphics updates. Sometimes more cost effective materials are substituted at the core, but only marginally alter the riding characteristics. Companies usually introduce an entirely new model if they're making significant structural changes to the board.

It depends on the guys. Really, it's not their age, so much as where they are in puberty that determines how they look--a guy who's almost finished with puberty will look different from a guy who's only about halfway through. Most guys grow into their early 20's, though, but still.
