Wow! Wonder how you make such good money as a "homemaker", where that group can out-pace financial analysts on donations?

Not really. Teachers and journalists are predominantly made up of liberals. Same goes for many elitist billionaires that have liberal views and donate a lot to democrats. They hide their money in offshore accounts and tax shelters, so they don't get hit by the tax increases. Unions and lawyers also tend to donate to the democrats.

Trial lawyers donated $112 million to democrats compared to the entire oil and gas industry that donated a mere $15 million to the GOP.

From 1990-2002 the top 27 labor unions donated $345.7 million, with 94% of it going to the democrats.

In 2002, of th $59.3 million donated by the top ten donors, 92.4% went to the democrats.

For small private business owners,in 2002 of the $97.1 million donated, 62% went to the GOP.

Of the top ten all time donors, all but one organization- the natinal organizatino of realtors- gave to democrats.

Of the top ten individual cotributors to "527" (tax emxempt special interest organizations) in 2004,only one private donor, Carl Linder, gave to the GOP.

So it's clear that special interest groups, labor unions, trial lawyers, journalists and teachers are overwhelmingly elitist liberals. While small business owners and the average joe tend to vote for the GOP.

Corporate donations I think should be banned. Indeed, I am open to the idea of restricting politician's donations and gifts while running and in office.

Money has become an issue in elections as important for deciding who wins as the candidate's platform in the US.

The financial analysts surprise me. The journalists surprise me the least.

Only those who go through life fooling themselves will be surprised. And by surprised, I mean annoyed that these numbers prove them to be liars about the mainsteam media not being biased in their favor,

No.

As for financial types, they ALWAYS hedge their bets - just like they do on the job.
