its kind of a queer question, but its something ive been wondering from the first book,
can the vampires have kids? like what owuld happen like if they dont age...? and can edward get bella pregnant even though she's still human? would they have some like half-vampire kid?

This would be impossible, as said by Stephenie, because when Edward got turned into a vampire, his body stopped reproducing, so therefore if Bella and Edward did ever do "it," then it would be impossible for Edward to have the sperm in order to get Bella pregnant in the first place. The only thing that is in Edward's body is venom, and if it did ever get in Bella's body, it would most likely cause Bella to transform immediately.

in the series they say theat esme cant have kids on buffy the vampire slayer and van helsing they say that vampires cant have children because they are dead and cant nourish the growing baby

I have wondered the same thing.but i agree with Rachel. and yeah aren't they considered dead... i mean remember Edward's heart hasn't worked in like 90 years.

Stephenie Meyer herself said they can't. Its like they get frozen when they get changed.
