why so many questions about if your pretty????????...isnt there anything better they could be asking or thinking about????...even around the holidays they are still so self Absorbed....Cant you think of anything else besides how you look????...there are people dying...sorry it might sound cheesy to you...but people should realize how lucky they are just to be healthy...and not all about their looks 24/7...

Yes, not everything in life is about what you look like. I agree with you 100% i was looking for somebody to ask a question like this.
These people should be focusing on their family and friends around Christmas, God, who cares whether they're pretty or not!?
They live healthy lives, what more can they ask for?
You're right, there are so many people living in poverty, who bearly have enough to eat, and some people only care about their looks.
I hope the message in your question gets through to some people!

I know, that question should be BANNED from this section. And its the same 5 ppl asking 24/7 too. Get a life, get a guy to tell u ur beautiful all day if that what U WANT AND LEAVE US ALONE!!

yes people are dying and some of them are suicide victims...they have low self-esteem so what if these girls and guys ask how they look they need reassurance so that they don't get suicidal and they want to know how they might change to be accepted which some people have been giving them pointers...that's the whole point

Because many many girls go through this through their life. Hey its not like you've never even thought of it. I even have my moments. But sometimes this is a good thing because you can start to love your self and be more confident about yourself. Sure, Its very annoying irratating and fustrating, i know. But just leave them be, they are going through a fase. Which is really hard because some end up with suicide. But i pray for those people to love themselves just the way they are.

stop worrying about what other people are thinking and doing then. sometimes its nice to think about yourself once in a while rather than stressing your self out about everything and everyone else all the time

They are asking if they are pretty, because they know they are, but something is bothering them & they are in need of compliments to make them feel better. On Y!Answers, no one is going to be like,"NO, YOU ARE UGLY." because then they won't get 10 points. So there is always a gauranteed compliment. I agree with what you said also.
