I have both, but i think 360 is much better as 360 has a wide verity of games, better graphics
the xbox360 is underestimated
The only thing ps3 has is blue ray and you would by a ps3 to whatch a simple dvd?

The online capabilities of PS3 cannot compare to Xbox live. This is a community, rating/comparison system, voice chat, and gaming match all in one that only has a marginal fee. Not to mention the number of games compared to PS3.
If you must have blue ray for some reason, there are other options.

if with u the 360 is way better,
i work at a games store in melbourne Australia and the same question always comes up ps3 or 360
the 360 has a better online facilties
and people always go but the Ps3 is wireless, well for $20 you can buy a wireless port for your xbox360
all i can recormend is that xbox360 is the best
and people always say the ps3 will get better... it will of course
but so will the xbox?
so theres only 1 way 2 go

the xbox360 has a great lineup of games, better rating, more being sold, the best games in the world halo3, time shift, smackdown v raw 2008, crash, midtown, guitar hero 3
the xbox360 is the way to go
ps3 is so overrated if you where to buy a ps3 you would have to be drunk when purchasing
there is no match xbox360 has dominated the gaming world
and also xbox360 is $500 AU, and 200 Pound
Ps3 is $700 Au and 300 Pound
( sorry don't know the american price )
GET A 360
if you don't your making one of the biggest gaming mistakes of your life

Go with 360. It has a better lineup of games, better online play, and overall better everything.
Only get a PS3 after it has a good lineup of games and doesn't cost $500

hahah ps3 definatly does not have better online capability... the only thing that the ps3 is better than the 360 in as far online is that its free.... I would rather pay to have better online service.

i bought a ps3 it was so crap
i bought the ps3 cuase i thought since it cost more and it has blueray it would be better
but when i went to my friend with a 360 and played it i went strate home returned my stupid ps3 and bought a 360
now i am happy
