The difference between right and wrong is complicated. In my opinion each living being has a "moral compass" inside them, that dictates how the judge if things are right and wrong.
For example, if you stole a candy bar from a store, your desire for the candybar "trumps" your conscience. But when you've exhausted that desire, you conscience kicks back and reminds that stealing is wrong. That's called guilt.
The other factor of making moral decisions is that the standard of right and wrong is always changing. (ie. Keeping slaves seems very wrong to us today, but was a common practice 40 years ago)
The candy bar example was me when I was 5. lol!
