production, street legal....i just wanna know what is the FASTEST CAR in the world?
my buddy told me its the.... SSC Ultimate Aero TT.
i dont think so....i think its the Barabus TKR..... then my brother told me its the Bugatti Veyron...
then i researched it and saw that the Ultima GTR was the fastest....
i really need to know this!

I own a shop, a drag car & truck, and I think it depends on what you mean. 1/4 mile, top end, or road race. The fastest car is geared so high that they have to push it to 50-60 mph. in order for it to begin pulling on its own. Street legal? It could be, but not practical. This question has been debated on here for the whole 2 yrs. the questions has been up & running. The worlds fastest car came apart, and was scattered all over the salt flats. If you will check the book of world records, you may be suprised to find that none of the above are listed as the fastest car. The fastest car is the one that can make the most power, stay together, and be geared to where it starts running on its own at about 100 mph. The fastest car "is" the one that holds the worlds record. All the others is want-to-be fastest. The Bugatti is the fastest production car, but it won't be for long, and may not be now if the new cars are on the market yet. Isn't competition great? This title could change daily if it included tuning these production vehicles for top speed.

The fastest street legal car is the Bugatti Veyron, beating the Mclaren F1 by just a fraction of a second. and aslo in top speed by alot... there is also another car that is a fast one to... someone made it themselves, i dont know what it is but its really fast in quarter mile not top speed... I hope this helps
