What do you think are the biggest problems in our world?

So what's your opinion? What are the most significant problems our world faces?

I think that the rapid rise of fundamentalist Muslims is one major issue, I am a proud moderate Muslim, and fundamentalism is just scary to me. I don't like the threats of Global Warming, of the ubiquitous oblivious nature of people towards the concept. I don't like the democratization of media. Also, they're problems in Africa, due to the massive neglect that content has faced, there are -sadly- few democracy in Africa, Mandela's masterpiece is the only true democracy on the content. I don't like the was Zimbabwe is going, either. China, is growing to fast, they barley can create the infrastructure to cope, and there is so much western investment (and so much US debt due to China) in that country now, that the imitate enviomentiaol disaster will be catastrophic to the international markets. Russia's reincarnation, is Putin's miracle, and while I condemn any state that isn't democratic, the ability for Putin to restore his country to it's former might -in 7 years-, is nothing short of incredible. They have harness the natural resources, and have Europe at it's knees for it's oil and gas, so Russia as a westerner is going to be something/someone for me to look-out for.

Religious conflict - problem since the beginning of civilizations

Management of resources - especially that of water. Drinkable water

Abuse of power from governments - another eternal problem

Poverty

Greed and irrational fear are the two SOLE problems the world faces as far as humanity is concerned - all other problems (wars, genocide, poverty etc) sprout from them.
