I think I just got the best christmas present ever. My husband and I just came to an agreement. We're going to separate! OMG Im so happy. I think its best for us both. We're going to help out each other until we could move onto better things.
Happily Divorce.. soon to come... omg. It was total misery...
I could cry for joy. I did the sad crying already because i seen it coming but omg... I could do a dance now...
Now it would be a happy christmas for me

Just a bit of advice...
That happy elated feeling u feel now will fade, with divorce comes a bevy of emotions. Some you know u're going to feel, some u dont. You will be on a rollercoaster ride for a while.
I know that divorce is the best thing for me and I'll be better for it(so will u apparently) but the emotions in the meantime are somethin else. Christmas will change now that u've decided on divorce. This is my first christmas knowing that next year it will just be me and the kids...and just trust me....be prepared for whatever emotions come. I wish you well and hope the ride isnt too bumpy for u and the two of u can work thru this w/o alot of drama.

Why ? In today's day in age people don't take the time to settle their problems, instead they file for divorce and thing their problems will take care of themselves ! Well that's not how life works, and maybe one day everything will come back at ya, then you'll be in trouble.....

Prepare yourself for the next phase....not to rain on your parade, cuz this IS a first step. Just remember, there are many emotions left to ride out, not to mention legal stuff. Protect yourself with good legal counsel as you begin your new life.
