true love only exists if u want it to.. so no it doesn't exist. People make it up for themselves because they find somebody that lets them cuddle up or kiss or hug them and that releases endorhpins and allows us to give into our sexual ambitions, and not feel guilty about it. People MAKE "love" happen, it isn't existing.

True love exists in so many different forms. Between a parent and a child, between relatives, between friends, between couples, in marriages.
I do not understand why people would say true love is an illusion. True love, to me, incorporates so many different feelings: security, tenderness, happiness, passion, openness...it means wanting only the best for whoever it may be you love. It means wanting to share everything. It means feeling their joy and their pain as strongly as if it were your own.
This is why I believe true love exists. There is no greater force on Earth, I believe. Without love, we are almost nothing.

i agree with Mitch... there is no such thing as "true" love. Love exists when 2 people are so compatible that they like the same things, have the same values, and possibly religious beliefs. People with the same sort of backgrounds also click. The trueness of love developes over time, when you realize you not ony married a lover, but also a best friend. couples who possess these qualities stay together for years.

it could be either really. some people think they've found true love but it ends up being an illusion. that's why there are breakups.

True love (between a man and woman for instance) requires compatibility.

It doesn't exist. But you should say the opposite if you have a girlfriend. That's how it works.
