People expect it just because I'm mexican, and it seems bothers most that i don't. And should I be offended when they do get angered with me?

NOPE. I come from a culture where they speak many languages.. I don't speak it fluently. People make a big deal out of it, especially those who share that culture with me, but i just ignore them. I wasn't exactly born in that country. If you are Mexican and you can't speak Spanish.. What is the big deal? I mean, you shouldn't be offended when people get angry with you. It's a fact of life. Like i used to be upset because i was born in Holland and others were born in Sudan and they would laugh at me, but i got like, used to it because that's just ridiculous. Also, i couldn't control the situation my parents were in. There's no way i could have learned how to speak Arabic and Sudanese tribal language fluently. You take care hun, just blank those, i mean, if you can speak English to those who do this to you and they understand you, why do you need to know Spanish for them?

Nah, You are you and you are great anyway you are. I have a cousin who is 1/2 Mexican and people are always speaking Spanish to him. He doesn't speak a word but it doesn't really annoy him. I am white as a cotton ball and speak, read, and write perfect Spanish! ♥ ya!

No, not a big deal.

I don't speak German, French, Celt, at all,
or even, English that awfully well...

My ancestral linage of languages.

And I don't know if I would even give
them that much notice as to be offended,
only because of their ignorance.

Best of Wishes for you and yours in this Holiday Season.

I am part Polish, German, Irish, Lithuanian and Tyrolean, and I can't speak any of those languages, so I don't see what the big deal is.
The next time someone asks why you can't speak Spanish, ask them what their native tongue is, and if they can speak that.

stereotype me and my people and I hate stupid like that
like, just because I'm native american people think
I dance around guys playing a drum or that I eat buffalo
all the time or something like that
and it's not true
