The song use to be on a country station back in mid 90's. I don't remember who sang it but I think it was a male singer. I just know it was about a single mother with three children and about how she made it day by day. The song really touched me since I am a single mom of 3.

I don't know it BUT you can write your local country station an email saying exactly what you wrote here, and they would probably know it. That's what I would do. Good luck

I think it might be Attack of the Salted Slugs from Chestnut Peak by Green Day. That was a song I used to listen to in the 90's that was about a woman who's bastard husband leaves her with 3 children. There are subliminal messages in it that will lead people to go out and find slugs from Chestnut Peak in Wisconson, Canada. And then they bite them and they die within 3 hours of poison.
But he talks about how he only left her because she refused to put out anymore and he called her a dried up, barren wasteland of death. Then he kidnapped the kids and held them hostage for 18 minutes without food or water. It's very sad, really. OOPS! Am I bringing back some ugly memories for you? Sorry D:

I don't know that one, but when I was divorced from my 1st husband, I used to sing Rod Stewert's "Broken Arrow" to them. For me, I interpreted it as us being there for each other no matter what. It was the 3 of us for a couple years. Now I'm remarried and so happy. 12 years now. Our new song is Rascall Flatts' "Bless The Broken Road" and it was my 18 year old daughter that heard it first and had me listen to it. I still cry when I hear it. He makes everything good and wonderful. I hope you find this too someday.

PS. Martina McBride has a song..."Broken Wing"....that's my song!!!! Listen to that one too.
