I was going for simplicity in several of my images, these two included.

The first is very nice, much to my taste and very well done. The second is okay, but I would want a stronger black line instead of area and I have to question the shape of the quill (the part that sticks in the bird)

The first one is very beautiful; the colors mix and contrast together so well. I really love what you did with the sun and its place in the picture.
The second one is very well drawn, but I might suggest a background or other colors incorporated into to the drawing.
But great job on both :)

I totally dig the "sun and the mountain". great choice of colors and the image is just beautiful.
I really like the "feather". the simple black feather with white background is enough to capture eyes. the detail is amazing, with such accuracy.
well done for both pics.

I don't like either of them. They both look like they belong in the clip art gallery of some pointless Microsoft application.

Its a good image for a Japanese restaurant or a sushi bar.
