Freedom of speech only applies to the government. Yahoo runs a private business, and these boards are only available to those that agree to abide by Yahoo's decisions.
So by signing up, you agreed to waive your freedom of speech on these boards.

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Notice that the amendment addresses the power of Congress. It does not address speech between private citizens. You have a right to speak. Yahoo has a right to control what is on their site.

You are going through a third party on Yahoo's website. When dealing in a third party situation like this you dont exactly have FOS. You can say what you want but yahoo reserves the right to delete any posting or delete any account they want. They have no real contractaul obligation to you. Also you clicked yes on terms of agreement and you obviously didnt read it.
Also yahoo is the media and they dont want you bringing light to the fact that they are brainwashing people every day

With "free speech" comes responsibility. And, Yahoo has community guidelines that MUST be followed.
If your question was framed in a way that was outside of the guidelines, then the participants reported you...and you were gone.
With a good grasp of the English language and good verbal skills, you can get your point across without using language that leads to violations.

Because, unfortunately, while we all have freedom of speech, the forums and venues we use to express it also have the right to tell us we can't say certain things or behave in certain ways.
If you agreed to the community guidelines- which are very vague by the way and impossible NOT to violate if you think about it- Yahoo has the right to take away your privileges over anything they deem "offensive."

It must have violated the Y A policies. Freedom of speech means you may say what you want but their maybe a recourse for what you say. Try yelling bomb on a plane! Free speech, but see what happens.

You have no first amendment right to free speech in a privately owned forum that does not charge for its services.

Because Neoconservatives don't believe in freedom of speech. They troll the board and register complaints about free thinkers. Next thing you know, the account is deleted.
Whenever your points are deleted, complain right back right away. Prove your point so that the trolls become suspect.
