Yes I have had a near death experience after giving birth to my son but I didn't have a bright light or felt I had passed over but on the other hand it was an experience which left me feeling there was no afterlife but I recently lost a sister and this spured me on to find out if there was life after death and now I know for sure there is, I hope you get your answers too.

Yeah, I've had it happen where I have had a few close encounters , or close calls , but I can't say that I remember 'the tunnel'. However, the funny thing is that I would often have dreams about it afterward where I was traveling through this tunnel and then suddenly when I am almost to the end, I suddenly and almost instantaneously go backwards like I'm being pulled back through and then wake up.

It would be interesting to know what your sister-in-law-said before she died?

I'm sorry for your loss. Really, I am.

This isn't my story, but it is my mums old friends story.
This happened ages ago, before I was born I think.

So, mums friend had given birth to a son. But he didn't live very long.
He died, I think before he had his first birthday.
Then, the night after he died, my mums friend woke to find a figure of her (deceased) mother standing at the foot of her bed, holding her child, slightly transparent.
Her child was smiling in the arms of her grandmother.
Then the figure said...
"Don't worry, I will take care of him."
Then then disappeared.

It wasn't a dream. She really did wake, because then she woke her husband and told him.

People experience different things when they die...

This is my friends story, no, thank goodness she is not dead.

She has a reoccuring dream. A dream of a black tunnel. Brick floor and black wall. She then sees a light at the end. Not wanting to stay in the dark she runs towards it. But it never comes closer.
She knows, somehow, that when she dies, she will reach the end.

I hope this helps in some way.
God Bless.

When I was about 10 or 11, I went to the beach. When I went out into the ocean, I got tugged under the undertoe and drowned. Before my dad pulled me out, I swore that I saw a hand trying to lead me into two gates. Everything seemed white after that and I woke up in the hospital.

Two months ago I had a very sever asthma attack and nearly suffocated. Didn't see any light or pearly gates. got tunnel vision. Then it all just got dark and I fell down. Woke up in the ambulance.

Don't believe in the afterlife but hope you find what you are looking for.

Yes I have and for me it will forever be life changing, it's something that was very scary at the time but now looking back I feel I've been released from that very fear. I've learned to appreciate life for what it gives you now and also for what it's yet to give you for the future. To me life is very beautiful I have my reasons for believing that and I also know that a certain someone in my life is resting in peace because of what I saw "in my dream". I know that some people may ridicule what I've wrote but it's what I felt so being honest I can only make the best of what was a very difficult test. I'm very sorry to hear about your sister in law and I'd like to offer you my deepest condolences, I do know that you will be OK so just try and stay strong as you're stronger than you know you can be.

Thank you :)
And best of luck xx

I haven't had an out of body experience, but when my brother died 12 years ago I was at my parents home, when the room I was in filled with a bright white light, I felt like I was being wrapped in a warm blanket and felt a sense of such serenity, I smiled and really believe that my brother was trying to reach out to me and comfort me

Sorry for your loss. Fortunately I haven't though. My late Grandad nearly drowned once and he said something about seeing all white and experiencing complete euphoria. I only hope to have the same experience...
