If you send in a movie with your application about how well you think you would fit into the school ad how well it would fit you, will it help your chances? Will they even watch it?
Should I do it, or is it a waste of time?

This is what my sister did... And we're pretty sure It's what got her in.
It is kinda weird... I wouldn't know what to say in it.

I dont think sending in a movie would help unless you are trying to get into a major that requests such things. Most schools request that you send in no more than what is requested.

Colleges like creativity, not gimmicks - and if you don't have a good plan for how you'd use the video to enhance your application, it's just going to look gimmicky. Work on your essay instead.

Definitely not a good choice. Stick to the common app or online registrations if possible.

It's kind of a weird thing to do...
you can call the admissions office and ask if it's appropriate.

I think it would be a waste of time. Spend that time on polishing your admissions essay.

We would probably dump the movie - no one has time to watch it!

No, there most likely wouldn't watch it. Do what they ask, as in essays ect.
