There were some really great movies made in the 30s, 40s and 50s.
Boggie is my favorite. "Casablanca" is my favorite. Of course there is "The Maltese Falcon", "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre". And later ones "The Caine Mutiny", "The African Queen".
"Grand Hotel"
"San Francisco", Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy and Jeanette McDonald.
"Gaslight".
"Sunset Boulevard".
I could on and on. The were a lot of great war films made back then. "Twelve Oc'clock High" being the best. "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo". "The Bridge on the River Kwi". For Korea there is "The Bridges at Toko-Ri". And of course "M*A*S*H", early 70s.
The late 60s gave us "Midnight Cowboy", a classic.
So many more.
Of course we had the old westerns.
"Stagecoach".
"They Died with Their Boots On".
"She Wore a Yellow Ribbon".
"High Noon".
"Red River".
Search them out.

I love them, just saw Dark Victory again this morning. Anything with Spencer Tracy, Myrna Loy, Franchot Tone, Bette Davis, Shirley Temple, Deanna Durbin, Greer Garson, Walter Pidgeon, Busby Berkley musicals, Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, well as you can see.........I could go on and on. I think you get the picture......Can't forget Laurence Olivier or Olivia DeHavilland, Errol Flynn, Betty Grable and Betty Hutton....never will forget Claude Rains. et al.
OK, I know, more than you wanted to hear. Thanks for the memories.....................Now just can't leave out Bob Hope & Bing Crosby.

I agree 100% and Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth or Barbara Stanwyck are way sexier than Julia, Jen, J-Lo or Reese any day!!!
