I know...this ain't something to be proud of?....but who do you think is the best college team that isn't playing in a bowl game?
Also, who is the best team with a losing record? haha..

TROY is easily the best team not in a bowl. 8-4 record with the losses coming to Florida, Arkansas, Florida Atlantic (New Orleans Bowl Champs) and Georgia.
The loss to Florida Atlantic in the conference championship game was because of laid back play and preserving their players for the big bowl game to come which everybody assumed was going to be higher than the New Orleans Bowl.
Best team with a lossing record would be Arizona they finished the season winning 3 of 4 games which included UCLA and than #2 Oregon.

Both South Carolina and Kansas State are good options but the best team not in a bowl game is the Washington Huskies. They beat both Cal and Boise State, played in the best conference in the country, and has anybody seen Jake Locker? This dude is the Heisman in two years.

Appy State should have received a bowl game after beating Michigan in the Big House. They won a third 1-AA National Championship I want to see what they can do.
And Troy State 3 of their 4 looses were to Arkansas, Florida, and Georgia. They got shafted big time.
