There are so many forms of birth control. And I would assume that such a big responsibilty would be planned.....

Yeah. I understand that contraceptives are 100% effective (birth control pills are only a little over 99% effective), but approximately 50% of pregnancies are unplanned.

sometimes when a doctor puts you on birth control they can give you the wrong type for your body and that reduces it's effectiveness. for instance if you go on the contraceptive pill and yourdoctor doesn't know you smoke then he gives you one that you can't smoke with you will soon find that it is less effective and some people don't know that you can not take antibiotics aswell on the pill. there are alot of factors but no matter if you intentially conceived or not a baby is a blessing and you should love it anywayxxx

LOL sometimes things are true accidents instead of lack of judgement. With my first son he was a total shock since according to my husband's doctors he should have been sterile from medical treatments involving radiation. Sure enough they were wrong.
4 years later we were using natural planning and my body decided to get screwy and released an egg 9 days earlier then it "should" have so we have a beautiful daughter added to the family. Granted I feel my family is now done so I had a tubal ligation done to prevent any future pregnancies but as shown above you can never truely prevent all pregnancy unless practicing abstinence.
Oh and my niece is another one of those "accidental" pregnancies. My sister was on the pill and took it responsibly. She still managed to concieve inspite of the pill. There isn't any Birth control method that is 100 percent!

i got pregnant while on the pill, it wasn't planned of course but it was the best thing that ever happened to me. . . .

and not being able to afford birth control is stupid, you can go to the health clinic and get a HUGE bag of free condoms, yes i know condoms aren't 100% affective but neither is birth control. but Some kind of protection is better than none.

And some people are just lazy, or don't think about what could happen, they are horny and put things in places they shouldn't go without thinking about it.

Laziness, forgetfulness, stupidity, lack of knowledge/ignorance. The list goes on and on.

Not being able to afford birth control is a cop-out. You can get a bag of condoms at Planned Parenthood for less than an espresso. 10 years ago I got a small brown bag full of them for $2.

No birth control is 100% effective.
I'm pregnant, and it wasn't planned. But, I take full responsibility for my actions and it is the best thing that has happened to me and my husband.

most people like 10-17 year old say it was an accident when it's really not there just to lazy to use protection, now for the women that really do get pregnant my accident it does happen and it's not there fault.etc tube ties ,condom and birth control,at the same time etc..........

some cant afford birthcontrol, some want kids but thought it would happen when the time was right so they chose to take it as it comes. some after trying to concieve for so long couldnt make it happen and gave up. by that time they got pregnant and they were not trying........

Because it's more exciting that way! Both of my pregnancies have been unplanned and my life is perfect! I love my babies and their father!

Getting pregnant is not an accident. Unless, for example, you trip and fall and you land on a mans huge bon*er, and that gets you pregnant.

"it cant happen to me"

People think that way, dont you think that way about important things such as STD's, Cancer, heart attacks, etc....

Human beings are built with a resistance of thinking that they are unable to be pentrated by the inevitable.
