~Well, the Air Force has the ICBMs, but the Navy has the Ohios and a few thousand MRV'd Tridents. Since the Air Force targets are stationary and highly vulnerable and God knows where the subs are, Navy wins. The Army and Marines get toasted in the first 5 minutes. Not to worry. If it didn't happen under Bush, it probably wouldn't happen if Eldridge Cleaver was in the White House with George Wallace as his VP, Dennis Means as Sect'y of State and George Lincoln Rockwell as Sec. Def.
The closest we have ever come to a military coup in this country was when the CIA and Chiefs of Staff almost took over during the Kennedy administration. But for Dallas, they still may have. Hmmm, is there a connection? Bobby thought so.

Who ever got the Coast Guard to join them.
First: The Navy and the Marines would more than likely be together as they are both Department of the Navy so they would be willing and able to fight together. Though the Air Force and the Army could work together to. But the Marines with their all arms system of fighting and the navy's ability to deliver troops and cover the attack would make them the preferred services.
Second: The scenario you are contemplating is very unlikely due to the oath that the men and women who serve this country in each of it's armed forces would forestall an open rebellion. Most of the men I served with in the US Navy didn't care for President Reagen and we still served and died for our country. The person who is Pesident makes no difference to the Men and Women on active service except that the pictures on the wall for Prez, Veep, and Sec Def change
Tell me are you scared of the idea that a woman may become our next POTUS or are you scared that Hillary may become our next POTUS?

First, there would not be such a conflict because the members of each military service take an oath to the Constitution not to an individual no matter their position.
Secondly, there are too many unknowns to make such a guess. Each service is specialized toward a certain type of warfare. It would depend a great deal on where such a conflict would be fought. That is, in any urban area or, a suburban area or, in the rural area. How much would civilians be involved. Keep in mind that many of us in the civilian population are veterans from all of the services. Many are compatriots in such veteran groups as the VFW and already do things with individuals from all of the services.
In short it is my opinion that none of the services have an advantage.

The navy would win because they have there own air force on the air craft carriers and have sea power and since the marines is an offshoot of the navy they would have a ground force so they would win

I would have to say the Marines because they have an air wing and they are trained better than the army plus the airforce is restricted to the air and the navy to the sea

There are no winner in a war, but, logistically speaking, and without any destabilizing factors like an alliance (:P), The Navy would probably prevail as it has the capabilities of all the other armed forces at it's disposal and many that they do not, just hypothetically of course.
