If the computer is wired to the modem then its not a wireless connection but then some hardwares for dsl right now are more or less a modem router, so you need to check if the hardware that you got from att is a wireless capable dsl modem.
Also, you can ask microsoft or the store that you got the wii thing if it can be connected both wired and wireless connection.

I have seen both wired and wireless modems or routers sold by the broadband provider companies. Look on the bottom and give us the part/model number and the number of any other box that's connected to it.

short answer isn't any. DSL would not help you make a 'community' between homes such as you advise. you need to evaluate connecting an ethernet cable between the two homes, yet 400meters is lots previous the optimal distance which you would be able to run this style of cable. Even 4 hundred ft could be stretching it. you need to evaluate employing a wifi router. The N form would make it from one homestead to the different if the partitions are skinny, yet 4 hundred meters continues to be way some distance for even that.

Hi. Is your modem attached to your computer with a wire? If so then it is not 'wireless'.

att issues both. but if you did not tell them that u wanted wireless, then they will not send u a wireless modem.
