I have dsl, and when I download something from p2p it starts off about 42-53 kbits then lowers slowly down to 1-2kbits per second. WHY is this doing this...? It used to stay around the same speed only by a few numbers orso, but why is it now going down to almost nothing...taking forever. I have wireless, on my desktop, Although I am sort of far away from the router box, and my signal is only 3 bars of 5 showing. But I can still browse online, etc.

Has nothing to do with your DSL. You're downloading from someone with weak bandwidth.

Hi. P2P software uses both upload and download at the same time. If you are loading a popular data file your PC tries to do both. This can result in a reduced download speed as you get more 'seeds' uploading.
