Throw it out to the birds? Do they eat it?

the birds sh!t on my car enough. i am not about to p*ss them off by giving them fruit cake.
the one time someone gave us some, i tried soaking it in rum, but that only made it wet and nasty.

Why waste it? I don't eat it. I get 2 Hockey Sticks and BOY, do we have a blast! We just go down the Street and have ourselves a "treat". This way we can tell the person who sent this to us, "We TRULY enjoyed the fruitcake!" In addition, the birds are able to eat the crumbs once the fruitcake has began to get disintegrate during the Hockey game.
Talk about multi-tasking with a Fruitcake, huh?

Sure my birds would eat the grainy part & the coons, possums & deer would eat what was left.
But if it's a good one, & seeings how my hubbie's loves fruitcake &he's allergic to corn syrup--I would show him several ways that fruit cake was utterly delicious!! Especially if Santa isnt good to me!! hahah

Yes I do. I think I may be one of only 3 people in the world who actually likes fruit cake.

Fruitcake I can get anytime. I would go with the midnight mass IF I could find a church that would do it in Latin with all the singing and incense. That's the only thing I miss about being catholic.

I take my calories very seriously, I would never waste that on fruit cake. When I am bad, I prefer pecan pie.

one year, i put it under a table leg that had broken to make the table more steady......it worked!!!!! but , if i get one this year, i'll probably attempt to eat it. if i can't, i'll give to the birds. down here in florida, birds eat anything.

no but i got rid of some Hard Grit in my oven burnt Out
I FEEL GOOD fed it to my Opossum
Hope he does not get Sick
burnt the Candles DEEP Blue .one;s to rid of the Yeller'
and turned SANTANA on..!!
