IS 16 TOO YOUNG FOR MOST AMERICAN TEENAGERS TO DRIVE?

My opinion: YES! I am almost 16 myself, but seeing many of my 16 year old peers, 16 is too young to drive. while some are already mature enough, many aren't! I'd say 17-18 is perfect. Thanks!

yes, i know a kid in the 7th grade who hasnt been held back who can drive with an adult
all i can say is i will NEVER go in a car with him
i just think that that is crazy
i think 16 is to young to drive, but you dont have to be 16 to drive, you can be 15 to get your permit
i think we would save alot of lives if ppl had to wait

Yes ... most teenagers are too caught up with their friends to actually obey the rules of the road. .... They want to talk to friends, play music, drive tooooooo fast & answer Cell Phones. .... 9 times out of ten ... that's a recipe for disaster

yes. I'm 16, and I'd be terrified to drive by myself. But if I wanted to, I could go get my license tomorrow xD

for me..i was ready but the idea of most people at my high school driving at 16 really worries me....

i say NO i mean i consider myself a very good driving and i personally think that the elderly are worse drivers then the teens .. thats just my opinion !

i dont think it is... most people have their permit by the time they are 16.
