falling so madly in love with a married man that i lost all sense of logic. my days and nights were full of humming to myself. he invited me over to his house one afternoon as his wife was out, i don't know what happened that her plans changed and she came back while we were just sitting in the living room chatting and laughing and i was all giggly and blushing and next thing she walks in. So he says "oh this is ______, she's here for the fresh spinach in the garden" and he goes come we'll go cut some spinach for you and i followed him into the vegetable garden. I could not stop smiling in myself, i just wanted to laugh out so loud. that love affair did not last long but the memories will always be the closest to my heart. it was the most dangerou adventure in my life, i did not care what the outcome would be, i just gave my heart to someone totally knowing he could never be mine. I was broken for almost 2 years but i came out alive and now just have all these beautiful memories.

I was having a long distance love affair, and got up and decided to drive from Massachusetts to Pittsburg PA.(750 miles) to see him.I had no map,and did not know how to get there.I just ventured out, and asked directions along the way.It took me 12 hours, but I made it without getting lost. All the helpful people I met along the way were awesome.I stayed 24 hours, and drove back.I did this all by myself, and it was a real adventure. The relationship did not last, but the memories did.My sense of adventure is still with me,but I am now in a relationship with someone who is very structured and plans everything down to the last detail.I find that boring. So to answer your question,I say, go where the wind takes you. It's never boring.

I don't know which one to choose:

1. Vietnam - 1965 - 1966, USMC. I suppose it's an "adventure" when lots of people are trying to kill you (and you're doing the same.)

2. Being in Iran during the Islamic Revolution (1978 - 1979). I witnessed mobs in the streets, civilians and soldiers being shot and entire sections of the city (Shiraz) going up in flames.

3. Spending 19 years in Saudi Arabia, including being in Riyadh when it was hit by about 50 Scud missiles courtesy of Saddam Hussein. The Kingdom is a very strange place for Westerners to get used to.

I'd definitely go with taking risks; that makes life seem much more exciting and much more precious.

Life.
I was born ( the greatest and most terrifying adventure ever undertaken ), I live ( the most exciting experience in all of history ) and one day I shall pass beyond this existence unto another ( the most eagerly anticipated and yet paralyzingly frightening occurrence to ever present).
As every breath you take is a risk, and yet no action you undertake can remove you from the protective embrace of God, fully appreciating the risk that is living and reveling in the thrill that is being is the most important approach.
Good luck and God Bless.

The greatest adventure in my life, I have ever had.
Is waking everyday, doing all the physio excersizes-both land based and Aqua physio, going to the office, doing research into construction and design qualifications of various structures, doing Accounting returns for the Accountant, travelling over Australia & various places world wide for work, tasting red wine, watching drammatic plays at the theatre and listening to my musical favourites.
Why do I do all this, you see back in 1990 I was involved in a Motror Vehicle Collision(MVC), and without going into meaningless drivel. About all the details of the MVC or the injury, I have had to relearn how to do everything from Breathing, Eating and Talking to walking, stetching and swimming.
So everyday is an ADVENTURE.

This may not sound too exciting, but I will never forget the day I travelled up to New England. I went through caves and climbed mountains. Everything was beautiful, and I now have a love for the wonderful town of Bar Harbor, Maine. I think that taking risks is a good thing because it makes you stronger, but I don't think you should be doing stupid, dangerous things nonstop. I hope to one day skydive, hang glide, and bungee jump just for the heck of it. I love thrills.

I drove to southern Mexico in a van that barely ran, with 8 people and a big dog. I think its necessary to step outside our comfort zone once in a while.
