I think it's every woman's choice. I could never do it myself, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be an option.

I can't possibly see telling someone who has been raped that she doesn't have a right to terminate the pregnancy. I also can't see telling a 13 year old what she should do, even if the sex was consensual. Older teens and other women, however, have NO EXCUSE for becoming pregnant when they have no intention of carrying to full term. There are far too many contraceptive options available to women who CHOOSE to have sex for an abortion to be necessary.

In my opinion it would depend on each individual case and the circumstances around it. For exmple: If a person gets pregnant and aborts it for no real reason, I think it's selfish and wrong. If the person was raped, I can see doing it as well as if there was a major risk to the mother of fetus.
I think it's a pretty hard decision to make no matter who you are, and it's a decision one would have to live with for the rest of their life.
It's such a touchy subject, I can't really answr one way or another I guess.

I think adults should be able to make there own choices. I don't live someone elses life. I am glad I was never in a situation where I had to make that choice.
BUT I do not think younger teens should go through a pregnancy, regardless of how they got pregnant.
I do think adoption is the best choice an older teen can make. It is so unselfish and mature to do that.

I am pro-choice. The reason is plain and simple-there are too many children that are hungry, homeless and who do not receive the standard of care that they need. If someone chooses to abort, then maybe its the right choice for that situation. Why would anyone advocate bringing in another life if it cant be cared for or treated like it deserves?
So many people on here jump on and pass judgement on others who breed their animals. They tell them to spay/abort the pregnant dog and have her spayed. Their reasoning being there are too many animals not cared for and in shelters. But these are the same people who shame others for their choice to not bring in a child to add to the same. Mind you, I agree with spaying and neutering regarding irresponsible people, and I dont agree with using abortions as a form of birth control. But its funny to see the see-saw effect on these 2 issues.

I am very pro-choice. I believe that every woman has the right to choose. I however, made my choice and know that abortion is not right for me, but I do not look down on people who have done it.
I understand there is the whole "accept responsibility for your actions" What happens when babies are born to people who don't want them? They are left in dumpsters, drowned etc. Sure you could say adoption, but when you carry a baby for nine months, sometimes it is too hard to part with that child and then a woman is left depressed and alone.
Free will is a beautiful thing and I think it gives every woman the right to do with her body what she needs.

I used to be against it, but found myself in a position where it was the best option for the baby, i have just explained on another question like this and im getting thumbs down but it was best for the baby.I think it depends entirely on the situation and i would never do it again because it was tough very tough to go through.

No matter what the circumstance the baby didnt ask to be murdered A baby cannot decide whats right and wrong, a baby cannot help wether it is conceived by rape or whatever excuse there is to have an abortion if the baby could talk nobody would be able to justify its answer "No i dont want to die yes i want to live"its not up to anybody to determine the life or death of a human being and babies fetus's whatever wether the heart is beating or not doesnt justify murder
No its is not your body that baby has its own body its own brain, heart feelings and future the world tells us its our choice but thats wrong it is not your choice its the babies choice and no baby wants to die
there is a good family waiting to love and care for unwanted babies they all deserve that chance

I have mixed feelings on this situation. I would like to think no abortion is ok in terms of what God would want us to do...but having been raped would be one of the toughest decisions ever made in life. It is definately not the baby's fault,,,and that baby regardless-is still part of you. I can't judge because I honestly have no idea what I would in that situation...I would definately pray alot and talk to my preacher and get loving advice from someone who knows. Abortion otherwise,,,no,,,is not ok. Never. People need to grow up and take responsibility for their actions!
THAT'S OUR BUN IN THE OVEN: How can you say that you made your bed...lie in it? People who are raped don't ask to get raped!!! Are you kidding me?

What if an adult gets raped? Is it not okay then?
What if an adult has an ectopic pregnancy? Is that not okay?
When you people ask these abortion questions, you don't take all the circumstances into consideration. There is no way you can say abortion is right in these cases but wrong in these. You can't judge without knowing the circumstances--the reasons why a woman had an abortion.

i dont think abortion is right becasue babys just has as much rights as a grown adult. even if the baby was created by a raped victime even if haveing the baby could take away a life look it sounds mean but the adult at least got to be born and have a life if you kill the baby the baby wont even get to experience life and how it feels no one wants to die its just a part of life.
