No thanks. haha the pits are too rough nowadays. But a lot of people like them. Just let me warn you, you could break a bone. My friends have broken their noses, fractured ankles, etc.

Yup. 1983 AC/DC Flick of the Switch Tour. It was crazy but I was only about 10 feet from Angus when he came out on stage and started playing Guns For Hire. The "pit" takes on a life of it's own. I was swaying back and forth and not even really touching the ground. It was a surreal feeling.

Only stayed for 3 or 4 songs though. The "pit" was getting the best of my friend standing in front of me. The heat or something was getting to him and I saw him start to drop. I grabbed the collar on the back of his shirt, pulled him up and made a beeline for the back of the arena.

To this day, 24 years later he tells that story and says I saved his life. Mosh pits are not for the faint of heart. Have fun!!!

A long time ago I was invited to a Punk Rock battle of the bands to take pictures of the bands that were playing. This was back around 1986.I took pictures of a lot of punk rockers up on the stage and around the room that it was in.At one point I was in the middle of a mosh pit, just snapping photos.Everyone was moshing around me.Later on in the show a fight broke out.The guy that started it was getting beat down, blood all over the place. The police showed up with their batons drawn.Chasing people down.I ran out snapping pictures of the police.I got pictures of the guys that got banged up.I was lucky that my camera never got broken.

yeah, when I went to the Project Revolution Tour in July, I was in a huge mosh pit. Some drunk guy punched this girl in the nose and broke it.
