for example chevrolet has in america the impala and malibu 2008, but in the middle east theres caprice and lumina. is the impala called caprice in middle east and malibu is lumina or chevrolet just has different cars for different regions. if thats the case why don't they just have a ll car models sold every where. I noticed this with other companies besides chevrolet.

It's all about language. There is a true story that happened years ago to Chevorlet. They marketed the Nova in Spanish speaking countries and weren't able to sell that model car until someone figured out that nova means no go in Spanish. The name was changed and the car starting selling

mfgrs spend a lot of time seeking out enticing names. BMW and Mercedes always use numbers. but names mean different things in different languages so one model might have different names in other parts of the world so as not to offend a specific culture.
the Taurus became the 500 for 2 years then became the Taurus again when sales lagged.

It is the same car model, but a different name is used because it can mean something else in the language of that country. It is not always the case, sometimes its to keep it different. Different reasons, but very common with automakers.

e.g. Volkswagen:
USA = Jetta
Europe/Mexico = Bora
