Sims 2 Pet Stories Screen in blue?

Okay, so I have everything required to run sims 2 pet stores, the main menu is fine, but when i go into arbor falls there's this blue stuff all over the screen covering the town I dont know what it is?

Sounds like it could be a graphics card issue. Check to make sure your graphics card is capable of handling the game, update your drivers, and if all else fails, buy a new graphic's card.
