Hi, i had three fish, two pinkish translucent ones, with whiskers, and 1 that looked something like this, http://www.flickr.com/photos/ilja/56015406/
except its in orange color, the tail and lower body.
then yesterday i bought two more fish, that looked like this

when i put them in, the orange one always chases them, are they fighting? having problems? or just playing...
and all of these fish dont require heater or filter...

oh one more thing, the orange one has been acting weird lately, it bends its tail sideways and kinda flows backwards a bit...:S

Well the first pic is a male guppy
the second one shows a female guppy
the chasing around you're seeing is a mating ritual
nothing really to worry about

And YES they DO require a heater and a filter
the temperature should be at all times around 78-82 degrees
and they need a filter to have oxygen added into the water or they will die of oxygen lack

also, there is NO fish out there that doesnt' require a filter
even a betta thrives and lives a healthier live if you have a filter in there

Hope that helps
good luck
